FOR PREPARATION YOU WILL NEED
- 160 mL water (⅔ cup)
- 80 g melted margarine or butter (dairy free)
- 2 eggs or YesYouCan Vegan Egg Replacer
- 1 x Apple & Cinnamon Muffin Mix
- 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
- 1 rectangular tray bake tin
INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-heat oven to 160°C (fan forced) / 180°C (conventional) / gas mark 4. Grease or line a rectangular tray bake tin.

Combine eggs, water, melted margarine or butter and the Apple & Cinnamon Muffin Mix in a mixing bowl.

Fold mixture with a wooden spoon until a smooth, uniform batter is formed.

Pour batter into the prepared tray bake tin and smooth the top evenly.

Top with thinly sliced apple, gently pressing the slices into the surface of the batter.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until lightly golden and the cake springs back when gently pressed.

Remove from oven and allow to cool in the tin before slicing and serving.
