If you’ve ever tried to make gluten free bread, you know it can be… tricky. Without gluten to create structure, it’s easy to end up with loaves that are dense or crumbly. But here’s the good news: with the right mix, ingredients, and a few simple tips, you can create gluten free multigrain bread that’s soft, flavourful, and a joy to eat.
Whether you’re baking for yourself, your family, or friends with dietary needs, our YesYouCan Multi Grain Bread Mix makes it easy to create bakery-quality bread at home, every time.
(Oven Method)
You’ll need:
- 1 packet YesYouCan Multi Grain Bread Mix
- 3 eggs or YesYouCan Vegan Egg Replacer
- Lukewarm water (per pack instructions)
- Optional: 7g instant dry yeast + 1 tsp sugar
- Olive oil spray or vegetable oil for greasing
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (fan forced) / 220°C (conventional) / gas mark 4.
- Grease your bread tin or spray with vegetable oil.
- In a large bowl, place eggs (or vegan egg replacer) and lukewarm water, then add the bread mix. (Optional: add yeast and sugar for enhanced rise and flavour).
- Using an electric mixer, blend on slow speed for 1 minute, scraping down sides of the bowl. Continue mixing on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour dough into the bread tin.
- For best results, cover the tin with foil (allowing space for the bread to rise without touching). Bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for a further 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and cool completely before slicing.
💡 Freezer Friendly: Slice bread first before freezing.

- 7g instant dry yeast

- Add lukewarm water, sugar, and yeast into the bread maker pan. Close the lid and leave for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
- Add the eggs (or vegan egg replacer) and the bread mix to the pan after proving.
- Follow your bread maker manual for the correct ingredient order (most recommend wet first, then dry).
- Choose a medium crust setting for best texture and flavour.
- Start the cycle and let the bread maker do the work.
- Remove loaf from the pan immediately after baking to prevent a soggy base. Cool completely before slicing.
